Mrs. Latha Pandiarajan is a finance professional with over two decades of diverse experience. She is the Co-Founder of Ma Foi Management Consultants P Ltd and is the Promoter and Managing Director of Varam, primary driving force behind the vision of the Company.
Mr. Joby is a Chartered Accountant by Qualification. He has spent most of his career in microfinance in India and abroad. Prior to his move to Varam he was CFO of ESAF Microfinance, the largest MFI in Kerala, a founding member of IFMR Trust, a lender at ICICI Bank and a grass root banker at the HDFC promoted Indian Association for Savings and Credit. At Varam, Joby is building and leading a motivated team in exploring the marketplace and creating a niche space for the company.
Mr. Balasubramanian is a senior banker who has served as the Chairman of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Chairman of IFCI and was associated with Bank of Baroda for a total period of 33 years. He was also associated with planning commission in preparing 5 years plan documents, focused on SME Financing as Chairman of the Sub-Committee, instrumental in starting rating agency – SMERA.
Mr. Shailesh Pathak is Executive Director, Bhartiya Group. Mr. Pathak has 28 years of work experience across the private and public sectors, spanning 12 years in the private financial sector and 16 in the IAS (Indian Administrative Service). In the private sector, he has spent 6 years with the ICICI group in Mumbai (over two stints) and 4 years with Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd in Delhi. He has also worked with HSBC, IDFC and Principle Capital, London. Mr. Pathak completed his MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 1986, and B.Com. (Hons.) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi in 1984. He also completed his LLB in 2005.
