Rathi Devi is a beautician. She could complete only her 12th standardand and could not get a good job with the qualification. So she was looking for opportunities to start a small business and started beauty parlour of her own. Before joining the group at SET, she was stuggling to arrange funds for running her business and purchasing the beauty products for the parlour. One she joined the group at SET, she got many internal loans from the group which helped her stabilise the business. Soon, She got her first loan from Varam of INR 5000 and recently she got the second cycle of loan of INR 25000. She is married & has 2 daughters. She now earns INR 20, 000 to 30,000 each month. Apart from earning from beauty parlour, she is also selling silk sarees and artificial jewellery items. She can meet the educational expenses of her children independently. Her husband works in Private Company earning INR 15,000. Earlier, her spouse was not much interested to allow her to work. But the way she managed her business, he rendered his complete support to her.
